Arbitrator
Mediator

Lisa Newby

Called to the Bar in 1994, Lisa brings over 30 years of legal experience with a primary focus on family mediation, arbitration, and parenting coordination. She is dedicated to helping families resolve conflict through collaborative, child-focused, and future-oriented processes.

As a roster mediator and arbitrator, Lisa facilitates resolution in complex family matters including parenting arrangements, support, and property division. She is also a parenting coordinator, assisting separated parents in reducing conflict and implementing effective parenting plans.

Trained in Collaborative Divorce, Lisa offers families an alternative to litigation by guiding them through respectful negotiation supported by an interdisciplinary team. While she has litigated high-conflict and high-net-worth family disputes in all levels of court, her practice now centers on out-of-court resolution.

Lisa also has a growing interest in estate mediation and draws on a broad legal background that includes experience in employment, human rights, criminal law, and personal injury.
