Herbert Silber KC

With over 45 years of legal experience, Herbert S. Silber has built a distinguished career in dispute resolution. His expertise spans real estate, commercial contracts, corporate disputes, and employment law, including co-counseling one of Canada’s largest commercial fraud cases, which set significant precedents in shareholder liability and corporate litigation.

Herb has dedicated his work to arbitration and mediation, serving as a panelist with the Vancouver International Arbitration Centre (Vaniac), formerly BCICAC. He specializes in commercial disputes, particularly lease arbitrations, and has trained in mediation at Harvard University’s School of Negotiation. Herb is also a thought leader, contributing articles to The Advocate and sharing insights through speaking engagements and a blog dedicated to dispute resolution.
